Biography
Denyo Manev was a Bulgarian public figure from the village of Rozovets, born around the 1850s and deceased in 1928. He worked as a clerk at the Brezovo district court, later became a municipal councillor, member and secretary of the District Court, and a member of parliament. In the municipal chronology he chaired the three-member commission from 9 January to 31 March 1914, then served as mayor of Plovdiv until 4 July 1918. Biographical notes also record a 1920 conviction for using municipal resources for personal purposes and receiving a bribe.
