Nikola Kozarev
Nikola Kozarev (1860s-1934) was a Bulgarian politician, entrepreneur and merchant born in Karlovo. There he founded the Levski tobacco factory in 1886 and served as mayor of Karlovo in 1890-1899. After moving to Plovdiv in 1900, he became a member and deputy chair of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, founded a Levski tobacco factory in Plovdiv as well, served as mayor in 1912-1914, and was a member of the Fifth Grand National Assembly and other parliaments.
