Milosh Danov

Milosh Hristov Danov (1874-1943) was a Bulgarian public figure and son of Hristo G. Danov. Born in Stara Zagora, he volunteered in the Macedonian-Adrianopolitan Volunteer Corps during the Balkan War of 1912. In the First World War he served as a junior officer and received an order for bravery. In 1908 he became deputy mayor of Plovdiv, and was mayor twice: in 1918-1919 as chair of a three-member commission and in 1928-1929 as chair of a seven-member commission. He was deputy chair of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Plovdiv and later moved his father's publishing house to Sofia.
